Q. How can I have a new label made for an extension?
A. Two ways: TCS Group can do it for you for a minimal charge – or- You can purchase the label(s) through TCS Group and click here for the DESI Lite label software and clicking here for the DESI manual.
Q. How can I change the name that appears in my phone display?
A. On your keypad: Press CALL1 key
- Dial 800
- Enter extension number to be changed
- Dial new name using your dial pad keys 1-9 (Press # to move forward and CONF key to move back)
- Press Hold key when finished (You will hear confirmation tones)
- Press SPK key
Q. How do I change the time on our phone system?
A. On your key pad:
- Press CALL1 key
- Dial 828
- Enter time in military format XX:XX (ex: 1315 is 1:15 p.m.)
Q. How can I answer a call ringing at my co-worker’s desk?
A. On your key pad:
- Lift handset
- Dial ** (Asterisk twice)
- Dial ringing co-worker’s extension number
Q. My display is not working – Is my phone broke?
A. Try this:
- First, make sure phone is idle and handset is placed in cradle
- Press Volume key up until you begin seeing your display information
- If this does not work, please place a service call: 954.846.8787, option 1
Q. My phone says “CAMP-ON” and shows my co-works extension – What does this mean?
A. You may dialed that particular co-worker’s extension and inadvertently press digit 2, enabling this feature. Using your clear soft keys:
- Press Clear key
- Select Clbk
- Select ALL
- Your display will return to normal within five seconds
